Our primary rental loudspeaker system is the British-designed and built Funktion-One Resolution Series arrayable point-source system.
If you haven't heard a Funktion-One system perform, then you're in for a beautiful surprise. The sound from these speakers is the ultimate in clear-cut sound, musicality and beauty. Among the technical attriutes of Funktion-One speakers are:
- A rigid high tech construction to reduce weight and structural resonance
- Lightweight, ultra-powerful magnets (a significant weight reduction for touring speakers)
- Very low conversion losses from amplifier to acoustic output
- Radical new internal design to produce negligible levels of distortion at all frequencies
- Unique waveguide configured for the smallest possible inter cabinet interference
- Clever enclosure design that allows speakers to interlock swiftly into many different configurations and simply hang and tilt from flying grids
- An equally clever wheelboard design that locks and protects the speakers face down and allow for highly efficient stacking. (See the picture above - up to 60 enclosures can be fitted onto the back of a trailer)
